On 22 August 2014, Yellow6 made the trip to Bradford for a Hibernate Records night at FUSE Art Space. Not the strangest of venues I have ever played by any means (there's two disused slaughterhouses amongst others competing for that accolade), but the venue was completely filled with sand for the Bradford Beach exhibition. The 'stage' was a bit like playing in a shop window and my amps were on the windowsill.
In the 30 mins available, i played versions of two tracks from the forthcoming album "closer to the sea without moving", and one that appeared an much different form on merry6mas 2013.
The tracks from this recording may appear in physical form on merry6mas2014, and the new album will be released by Silber in autumn/fall 2014.
