Weird Garden is an art space at Decimal Place, Lincoln described as putting on "Events for experimental music, sound and spoken word." This was the first, and hopefully not last, time i have played there.
As 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of Yellow6, i decided to play the nearest thing i have to a greatest hits set, picking a couple of key tracks from the years (the ones i can vaguely remember) and one new one.
Even was from my first LP and also the first track played by the late and legendary John Peel. Katarinahissen was from the Scandinavian period of the early 2000s, CUT from the mid 2000s, and lastly Stand from the recent release Civil Twilight.

Thanks to Lucy and Gavin for asking me to play, arranging stuff, and for the ice cream. Also thanks to everyone who came, in particular andy and Ron who came from Norfolk, and Jon Leonard who ventured a few streets across Lincoln.
The recording is a mix of a room recording using a Tascam digital recorder, and the live recording from the looper.

The download has the four individual tracks and, should you wish to experience a little more, the full set with chat etc.

Sublime work from start to finish. Disc 2 on the limited edition is a slice of acoustic heaven. Overall probably my favourite Yellow6 release and that is saying something given the quality of competition over so many years. Bravo Jon, I love this direction you have taken. as always I am left wanting more. Beautifully presented and packaged by the ever reliable Sound in Silence label. Will
